Looking for a family friendly stay in Duluth that’s away from the touristy areas, surrounded by good food and breweries, and is absolutely gorgeous inside? Check out Enger Lofts.

Located in the heart of the Lincoln Park Craft District, Enger Lofts features gorgeous apartments that will immediately help you feel relaxed. Big windows, a full kitchen, exposed brick walls, beautiful modern furnishings, and cozy beds are just a few of the amenities that you’ll be treated to upon arrival.
While we were staying at Enger Lofts, my husband actually worked remote. He was able to set up his computer and work from the kitchen island, and Lucy (our 19 month old daughter) and I explored the shops downstairs and took a little drive over to Canal Park. It’s the perfect location to get away from it all, work remote, and still have the family travel with you.

As much as I loved the actual loft we stayed in, my favorite part of Enger was the proximity to all of the amazing food and drinks in the area. The first night we headed over to Bent Paddle Brewing, which is literally across the street. We grabbed a flight of beer, sat on the patio and let Lucy run around and play, and ate from the awesome food truck on site.

My other must visit spot is right down the street from Enger Lofts. Wild State Cider! The best cider I’ve ever had, super knowledgeable and kind employees, and a kids play area upstairs. Toddler parents, add this to you list of places to go. You won’t regret it.

If you travel to Duluth, you can’t skip Canal Park. I think it’s a crime, lol. Enger Lofts is only a five minute drive from the water, shops, and restaurants, so you can get out of the busy area but also drive over whenever you want. A few of my favorite places in Canal Park are Love Creamery, Canal Park Brewing, Duluth Pack, and watching the big ships come in. Lucy loved throwing rocks in the water so if you’ve got a toddler make sure you take them down to the beach.

We absolutely loved our two nights away as a little family. Bryan was able to work, Lucy and I explored, we enjoyed checking out a ton of small businesses, and Bryan and I got to connect in the coziest space after Lucy went to bed. This is a must stay for families, couples, or solo travelers. Head over to Enger Lofts to book your stay!
